EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Plaintiff rented a house from defendant. At 3 months to the end of the lease plaintiff decides to move to another house closer to the kids school, spoke to the defendant, and explained; they both agreed that she will try to find a new tenant to fulfill the terms of the lease, she did and the new tenant came in and paid his deposit. Defendant was under the impression that because they left before the lease expired they were not entitled to their deposit back; Judge explained that yes they are as she has a new deposit from the new tenant.
