Defendant denies liability, she claims plaintiff should be liable for stealing her automobile, traffic tickets on her car, compromising her drivers record. plaintiff claims that defendant and her agreed that she was going to put her car under defendants name to buy her time to pay off ticket traffic, they did, later on defendant reported the car missing, plaintiff was pulled over for stealing a car. She claims she did not steal the car, the report was with malice as defendant knew she had it. Defendant claims she bought the car from the plaintiff, she was not doing her a favor to put it on her name, she says she paid her $1450 cash. Later on the car broke down, it was parked in front of plaintiffs home for a while, she thought it was towed for leaving it there, when she could not find it she reported it stolen. Judge finds that they both committed felonies, dismissed the case.
