QUICK OVERVIEW

Plaintiff is suing for unpaid rent.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Parties are mother and son. Plaintiff claims she took care of defendants 3 children for 3 years while he was in prison, he is now back to his feet, in good financial position and she wants him to cover for the unpaid rent. They had agreed that he would pay her $1350 a month. Defendant claims he paid for the $700 they agreed, not 1350. Evidence showed that they agreed, in writing, defendant and family will stay at the house for free for the first 6 months. They agreed in Court to settle for $1500 for the plaintiff.
