Parties were childhood friends, found each other again years later. Plaintiff claims she hired defendant as a waitress at her bar, found her stealing from the cash register, fired her; defendant still owes her for a loan she gave her. Defendant says that she would have paid the loan if plaintiff did not fired her, and that plaintiffs husband is an abusive men.
