Plaintiff is suing on his behalf and on behalf of 2 roommates, presented Power of Attorney. Plaintiffs are college students. Plaintiffs lived in the home for 10 months, when they rented it was not in properly condition although they decided to stay as it was close to their College. Plaintiff claims all the doors locks were broken. The original deposit was for $1350, plaintiff admits that part of the deposit was for rent due, but does not agree to the rest of the deposit. Defendant claims he is charging them for the locks on the door.
